Float Weightlessly: A Sound Bath Journey at Sandy Shores
Unwind and let go as you float effortlessly on a hammock raft in the warm waters of the heated indoor pool at Sandy Shores. Let Beth guide you on a deeply relaxing journey using the calming sounds of Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, chimes, and gentle drums.
As the sound bath unfolds, Beth will join you in the water, moving gently around the pool to play the Tibetan singing bowls up close—creating a truly immersive and meditative experience. Each participant will have the opportunity to experience the healing vibrations of the bowls surrounding them as they float in blissful stillness.
Let the water support you, and the sound waves carry you into deep relaxation.

Restorative Yoga & Ayurvedic Self-Massage (Abhyanga)

We invite you to slow down and nourish yourself with this special restorative yoga experience. The session begins with a guided self-massage using warm, herb-infused oil - a practice known in Ayurveda as Abhyanga. In Sanskrit, the word for oil, sneha, also means love, reminding us that this simple ritual is an act of self-kindness. You’ll gently massage your arms and legs, cultivating a sense of grounding and care.
From there, Sue will guide you through a series of her favorite restorative yoga postures, supporting your body with props to encourage deep rest, stillness, and release. This practice is designed to soothe your nervous system, quiet the mind, and restore balance in a world that often asks us to stay busy and productive.
🌿 What to Bring: An old hand towel and comfortable clothing that allows you to easily access your arms and legs. All props and oils will be provided.

Ashtanga yoga follows a specific sequence of postures helping to build strength, flexibility, balance and overall well-being. We will be practicing the Ashtanga Short Form series which is a shorter, introductory sequence of the Ashtanga Primary series, focusing on the foundational postures and building a solid base for more advanced practices. It includes Sun Salutations, standing poses, and seated postures. Suitable for more experienced students and for those interested in learning a more challenging yoga practice.

Reiki | Hands-On, Light-Touch Healing
Originating in Japan, this hands-on, light-touch healing technique is used to promote relaxation and restore balance to the energy body, with the intention of supporting the body’s own natural healing abilities. Clients often report feelings of improved mental & physical well-being, stress relief, as well as improvement with a variety of chronic and acute conditions. The Reiki practitioner's hands can either float above or be placed gently upon the body. Clients are fully clothed on a massage table, with optional blanket and eye pillow.
Sound Healing | Vibrational Sound Therapy
Utilizing a wide variety of healing sound such as Tibetan Singing Bowls and/or tuning forks, chimes, drums and more, this sound and vibration therapy technique is used to re-tune the body by shifting the frequency of the energy body – removing the lower frequencies of blocked or stagnant emotions and restoring the body back towards vibrational alignment with health.
