Restorative Yoga & Ayurvedic Self-Massage (Abhyanga)

We invite you to slow down and nourish yourself with this special restorative yoga experience. The session begins with a guided self-massage using warm, herb-infused oil - a practice known in Ayurveda as Abhyanga. In Sanskrit, the word for oil, sneha, also means love, reminding us that this simple ritual is an act of self-kindness. You’ll gently massage your arms and legs, cultivating a sense of grounding and care.

From there, Sue will guide you through a series of her favorite restorative yoga postures, supporting your body with props to encourage deep rest, stillness, and release. This practice is designed to soothe your nervous system, quiet the mind, and restore balance in a world that often asks us to stay busy and productive.

🌿 What to Bring: An old hand towel and comfortable clothing that allows you to easily access your arms and legs. All props and oils will be provided.
